Situado en la cabecera del r\u00edo Fluvia encontramos a la Vall d’en Bas en medio de una amplia llanura rodeada de prados, bosques de robles, hayas y encina. Un pueblo de vocaci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola donde se cosechan productos de muy alta calidad gracias a la riqueza de sus suelos.<\/p>\n

Este pueblo es tambi\u00e9n due\u00f1o de una rica historia por ser tierra de remensas, aqu\u00ed se conserva como patrimonio la mas\u00eda donde naci\u00f3 Francesc de Verntallat, l\u00edder campesino. En su honor y en recuerdo del movimiento remensa, se realiza todos los a\u00f1os la marcha cicloturista Terra de Remences, una de las m\u00e1s resaltantes de la regi\u00f3n catalana.<\/p>\n

En la Vall d’en Bas encontramos dos n\u00facleos poblacionales considerados como conjuntos hist\u00f3ricos-art\u00edsticos: la villa del Mallol, asentada sobre la colina de la Vall d’en Bas, fue por largo tiempo la capital y residencia de los vescomptes de Bas. Actualmente es un centro tur\u00edstico que conserva importantes edificaciones de origen medieval.<\/p>\n

Hostalets de Bas, el otro n\u00facleo tuvo su origen en el siglo XVIII a partir de los hostales que se ubicaban en el camino real que un\u00eda a Olot con Vic. Aqu\u00ed encontramos la famosa calle Teixeda, en la que destacan sus casas con amplios balcones de madera repletos de flores, que se han convertido en inspiraci\u00f3n para destacados pintores y fot\u00f3grafos.<\/p>\n

Uno de los sitios m\u00e1s interesantes para conocer en la Vall d’en Bas es el Centro de Cultura y Naturaleza Can Trona, un ecomuseo que busca resaltar en sus salas el patrimonio hist\u00f3rico y la riqueza natural de este municipio de la Comarca de la Garrotxa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
